I recently bought new progressives with a script from SpecSavers Midland a suburb of Perth Western Australia. Company’s new on the market here with an aggressive marketing campaign. Incorrect script so returned for another fitting having checked on the internet to whom the script belongs – me or them. The internet site also advised me to ask for my PD. That upset the apple cart. Technically I’m not allowed it as it’s “taken by one of the sales staff who is not qualified”(though I do know it now). So have signed your petition. Thanks for making the effort.

You’ll be surprised how many hits and signatures you’ll get. I measured my own PD when I last ordered my spectacles online. I don’t think many people know that they can do this and how it easy it is. Some will always prefer the comfort of the optician and that is a choice, but how many know that you can buy more competitively and just as easy off the internet.
Good luck with the campaign!
Debbie

Dear Metsuki,
Just to let you know, i have started a Facebook group to support your petition for a pupillary distance on prescriptions http://www.facebook.com I hope users will be able to share there thoughts and hopefully it will motivate other people to sign up, and invite friends to sign the petition.
If you were to promote this group perhaps it would reach the widest audience possible.
yours
